The 55-minute film takes you around the house and invites you to look, talk and respond creatively – as a class or together at home. There are lots of moments within the film for in-class or at home interaction, as well as links to follow up more in future lessons.
To take part, you will need at least three sheets of paper and a pencil. You can download our pre-prepared stencils to help with some of the activities (or you can just draw them out yourselves).
Once you’ve watched the film, you might want to follow up with further resources:

Light
An appreciation of light was central to Jim’s thinking about Kettle’s Yard.

Nature
Objects from the natural world play a very important role at Kettle’s Yard.

Space
In Kettle’s Yard, the architecture and the space within are just as important as the artwork and objects.
