Roger Ackling

Born 1947 – Died 2014

Born in Isleworth, in the 1960s Ackling graduated from St. Martin’s School of Art, London. His best known work is made by drawing with sunlight through a magnifying glass on wood or card. He lived and worked in Norfolk, and is represented in collections including The British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Tate and the Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam).
