Mary Kessell

Born 1914 – Died 1978
Mary Kessell was born in London. She studied at the Clapham School of Art and the Central School of Arts and Crafts. A landscape and mural painter as well as an illustrator, in 1945 she worked in Germany as an Official War Artist.
