Kenneth Draper

Born 1944

Born in Sheffield, Draper studied painting at Chesterfield College of Art (1959–62) and Kingston School of Art, London (1962–65). He then studied sculpture at the Royal College of Art (1965–68) and taught at Goldmiths’ College and Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. Since his first solo show at the Redfern Gallery in London (1969), Draper has had exhibitions in both Europe and the US. He was elected a Royal Academician in 1991 and lives in Menorca, Spain.
