George Kennethson

Born 1910 – Died 1994

Kennethson was born in Richmond, Surrey. After studying painting at the Royal Academy Schools (1929–32), he turned to sculpture, working exclusively with direct carving in stone. From the mid-1950s he lived and taught at Oundle School.
